Kathy Skinner, a West Haven resident, has donated a special blanket to Bailey student Rajay Linton, who is in need of a heart transplant. Kathy read an article about  Rayjay in the newspaper and made him a "hug" blanket. The blanket is tied with knots, and each knot is considered a hug. Kathy has made close to 1,000 blankets for those in need, and as soon as she read Rayjay's story, she knew she would make one for him. The fabric with hearts was picked especially for Rayjay. Kathy and her family members are organ donors, so Rayjay's story really touched them. Kathy's thoughtfulness and generosity is just another example of West Haven's great community!
