Bailey students help charities through Rotary contest

This is the image for the news article titled Bailey students help charities through Rotary contestA group of 15 Bailey Middle School seventh-graders recently participated in an annual competition sponsored by West Haven Rotary Club. Students from Accelerated English/Language Arts classes were grouped into teams to research an international charity, create a PowerPoint about it, and make a presentation in front of a panel of judges. The top three groups were invited to a luncheon at App’s Restaurant sponsored by The West Haven Rotary Club. This year, the top groups each won $500 for their chosen charities: Books for Africa, Action Against Hunger and Charity:Water.
