Members of Bailey’s Fill a Bag, Fuel a Mind Club spent time at Stop & Shop in West Haven picking up supplies to help replenish the school pantry, which supports Bailey students and families. The pantry is stocked with everyday necessities such as meals, snacks, and hygiene items to make sure families have access to what they need. Thank you to the students who helped shop and organize the items. Your efforts continue to show what it means to care for and support the West Haven community. 🛒💙

Important Notice: Due to the half day scheduled for staff development and the prospect of more snow tomorrow, all West Haven Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. This will give the city additional time to clean bus stops and plow roads for those who are still snowed in. With this decision, we expect a full day of school on Thursday, February 26, 2026. This morning the Bettering Bailey Club hosted its annual Valentines for Veterans Breakfast at the middle school, welcoming local veterans from a variety of backgrounds to share their stories while students honored their service with a special breakfast. We met individuals who served in roles such as artillery, administration, military police, machine gunners, infantry, and more. The mayor also joined to thank both the veterans and students and highlight how West Haven supports its veteran community. It is always a privilege to recognize those who have protected our country. Wishing everyone an early Happy Valentine’s Day and thanking all who have served, past and present. ❤️🤍💙🎖️
