On Friday, May 19, 2023, the Bailey 8th Grade Band competed in the “Music in the Parks Music Festival” at Westfield State University and Six Flags of New England. There were 14 middle school and high school music groups from Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, and Connecticut who performed and received ratings based on their performances.
The Bailey 8th Grade Band received the highest rating of Superior and 1st place for the division! They also received the Overall trophy for receiving the highest score of any middle school band!
