Rachel Mekeel
About: I teach seventh-grade band, eighth-grade band, after-school jazz band, after-school bucket ensemble, and after-school mallet ensemble. I have been teaching for 18 years, 16 of them in West Haven, and I have taught at Bailey Middle School for 13 years.
Hobbies: I enjoy blacksmithing, making music, playing board games, and traveling.
Fun Facts: I enjoy new experiences and love to learn new things!

Hobbies: Golf, running, traveling.
Fun Facts: Teaching is a second career. Before teaching, I worked in finance and IT at SNET/AT&T for 22 years; I’m an avid New York Giants and Yankees fan.
