About: I teach 8th grade science. This is my third-year teaching. I spent one year in Trumbull, and this is my second year at Bailey!
Hobbies: My hobbies include reading, playing with my animals, hiking, camping, and going to the beach!
Fun Facts: I have been a licensed hairdresser for over 9 years now and still do it in my spare time; I used to intern at the Beardsley Zoo and I volunteered at an animal shelter for 7 years. I really love animals.
Jim Mastriano
About: I teach 8th grade social studies U.S. History: American Revolution to Civil War. I have been teaching for 27 years, all here at Bailey in the 8th grade!
Hobbies: Spending time with my family, beach vacations, coaching/watching my kid’s sport teams, taking my Boxer pup for walks at Hammo, working out, watching my Broncos and Mets, as well as Yellowstone, playing golf, and kayaking.
Fun Facts: Went to Bailey as an 8th grader, played on the ’86 and ’87 football championship teams for West Haven, went to Nichols College, coached football at the high school during the ‘90’s.
