
Due to inclement weather in Friday’s forecast, the West Haven High School football game against North Haven High School has been moved to tomorrow, 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗𝐭𝐡. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Ken Strong Stadium.

Today, we feature Mrs. Jill Woychowski, a library media specialist at West Haven High School! Jill, whose maiden name is Eagles, attended Savin Rock, Mackrille, and Bailey, before graduating from WHHS in 1998. Mrs. Woychowski has been teaching in West Haven for 21 years, her entire career! She’s also a Westie parent and has a son in the Class of 2025!

📢 The West Haven Interagency Network for Children in conjunction with the city Department of Youth and Family Services will hold its 2023 Family Resource Fair from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, September 20th at the West Haven Community House, 227 Elm St. The free event will give families of children with special needs an opportunity to learn about resources and services while meeting other families.

Bailey's BOOK FAIR is running all week long. All proceeds will be used to buy new books for our library. Please encourage your kids to shop for a new book! Parents, please visit the book fair on Wednesday night's Open House.

West Haven Public Schools is supporting the local public libraries in their library card sign-up drive this month! We will be giving copies of the registration forms to all our school librarians Grades K-8 for students to take home and return to school, where the forms will then be picked up by public library personnel.
